I have been browsing some of the websites/blogs lately and found out some of the blogs which have drastically changed them over this month or so. One of them is Get Netted , the domain is around 8 years and has excellent SERPS.

Last night I was looking on to it and found out that the latest post on the site about pagerank was on the google's first page in a flash i.e. it took less than one minute to get indexed in Google. One more thing about the site is that it is currently using a magazine theme which make's its out bounds considerably lesser than it could have been.

Now coming to another site, the other site is Larger Than Life which is doing very good in terms of it's rankings in Search Engines but not as good as Get Netted. According to Whois both the domains belong to same person. The current Pagerank of both the domains is 3 and 4 respectively. One more site to watch is The Business Blog which is not exactly a complete Business Blog but considerable amount of business related topics on the blog. You can find out credit card related queries, The Richest Indian and other things on the site.

After years of saving little by little, the time has come that we now reap the benefits of it. Yes we have just bought a new home and would be shifting in it very soon. After such a long wait we are so relieved that our dream has finally come true. Every three years my father got transferred to a new place in the state and we being dependent had to go with him.We had to put our all the belongings into a truck and then gradually move to a new place. Ok , after writing my last post on paypal , I thought to write about Paypal Verification as well. I belong to India and people know very well that students do not get credit cards easily here. I have been using paypal for over two years now and my account was limited once for some un usual charges linked to my credit card , which was completely ridiculous coz I did not have credit card at that time. Nevertheless I uploaded documents and it got un limited.

After that none of my account was limited until recently one of my accounts i.e the Premier account was limited because they (Paypal) suspected unusual activity in my account. How the hell can they detect an un usual activity because no one knew the password for my account and the last time I used my account was only to Pay hosting charges to Godaddy for my website.

Now , I know that using paypal can be a serious thing if you do not have a credit card or do not run a business then you should be careful when you are making a move on to Paypal or creating an account on them.

My Laptop

So, here I am back again with my blog's writing habits. I was off for sometime but was receiving some constant traffic on to this blog but since I stopped writing on this blog for some time the traffic seems to have dropped down.

Ok since I was gone , I have bought my Laptop without anyone's help in my family and this is why I am too much happy. Gosh I need to be happy because this is the first time I have bought something without the families help and support.

Talking about my Lappi.

The model is Acer Aspire 4720 , a little bit cheap and with 14.1" screen , I think it is the best option for me as I do not have to write heavy programs and neither do I have to use pretty much heavy software's. All I have to do is to connect my Lappi to my Wifi Connection and use Internet on the laptop. So, guys I am going to enjoy rocking evening what;s about you.

As I came into the home one day I got information from my Mom that my cousin brother was going to be married in one month. They got a call from my Uncle which resulted in widespread happiness across the families . Now when I got this information I was also extremely happy. Truly I was very much happy that day. I called my Uncle for the inquiry about the marriage.

As I called my uncle he told me that one who had to take care of his unique wedding accessories so that, my brother would look great in his one and only marriage . We went to the market and bought some gold bracelets, gold chains, suits, and many more items which would make him as a distinguished person on the auspicious day of his marriage.

The compliment I got from my Uncle after buying all this stuff was that " Son you have done a really good Job." May god bless you with the lots of wealth and brains. That's an old saying in India so I accepted his compliment and I was really happy for my brother who was going to be married soon and then My number had to come . Now I was waiting for my turn to get married.

What has been said by most of the persons on the net I was not able to understand. Today I changed this blog's address from blogger to my own domain, it was just because I was not getting enough visitors on those parked pages to generate any sort of revenue. Then I thought to use my domain to cover this blogspot.com address. Most of the blogging services do not use free domain blogs who are having any sort of blogspot.com or wordpress.com or xanga.com or any other domain name behind them.

How I did it ?

This was not easy because I was not able to understand what the blogger help said about custom domain pointing. It was just given like this

How do I create a CNAME record for my custom domain?

A CNAME, or Canonical Name, record is an entry within the Domain Name System (DNS) that specifies where a user can find your web pages, or any other URL. You'll use this to associate your custom domain with your blog.

After registering your domain, decide if you want to use a particular subdomain for your blog. E.g. instead of www.mydomain.com you could use something like blog.mydomain.com, if you want. Then you'll create a corresponding CNAME record for that address, associating it with ghs.google.com. Keep in mind that changes to DNS records make take up to 48 hours to take effect.

Each hosting service has slightly different ways to create CNAME records. Guidelines are provided here for some of the common services. When in doubt, check with the particular company you're using for additional help or instructions.

Thanks that My domain host was given in this list. So I had to follow.

3. Click Domains. The Domain Overview page appears.
4. From the New drop-down menu, select Create Subdomain. (If you've already created a subdomain for your blog's address, skip to step six.)
5. Enter only the subdomain you want to use, and click OK. For example, if you chose www.mydomain.com for your blog's address, you should enter www here.
6. Select the checkbox next to the subdomain that you will be using. (Example: www.mydomain.com)
7. From the DNS menu, select Edit DNS Settings.
8. Click the radio button next to CNAME.
9. Enter ghs.google.com next to Alias.
10. Click OK.

Now what I was not understanding was that where are the Nameservers gone. Where should I point my domain's Nameservers to because pointing them to Default will result in a parked page and if they are forwarded to Sedo then they will show the Sedo's parking page.

After loooking many websites and groups I realised that you have to leave your default nameservers in their place and you have to create the CNAME records only.
By adding the CNAME records the domain will be pointed to google's custom servers where the blog will be shown.

So those who are thinking to set up their own domains on blogger blogs don't waste time here and there you need to just do one thing
Leave the default Name Servers
Add the new CNAME records
and let it update for some time After it will update you will have your blog from Blogspot.com pointed to your domain.

That's all for today but I will have some of my other blogs switch over to domains which are empty till now.

A year back I was riding my bicycle along with my friend , We were enjoying our evening and then suddenly it happened he just went over to main road and one speeding vehicle came and hit him. At that moment I was shocked to see the whole incident , As the vehicle hit him he fell off the road and was scratched badly. He had blood over all his body. I did not waste any single moment and ran to my house to call my parents . They rushed at the site and in the meantime I informed Arjun's parents by phone .

Arjun's family tried all the sources to gather a vehicle from their relatives , neighbors and all but were not able to get a vehicle and then they called the ambulance. Ambulance was taking long time to come so I asked uncle to get a vehicle on hire but he said he did not have enough money to pay to the taxi service or vehicle on hire service.

I must say we managed to arrange for the vehicle before ambulance arrived and took him to hospital and then he had several surgeries which made him look like before but still he does not look like the Arjun I knew. This all incident cost more than several Lakhs of rupees to Arjun's family who were not in position to get so much money so quickly , in turn they took pay day loans from people at higher interests which they are still not able to pay.

Now I look back at the past and say can somebody have helped Arjun's family by providing cash advance loans to them . Have you heard of Cheaters. May be yes . You must have heard of them because everybody knows that cheating is not good and cheaters are not good persons . I also have an incident which I would like to share today as well.
I signed up for a Bloggerwave way back in June and then I did some posts for them as well . 3 to the number. It was written in the FAQ's that I would be paid after 30 days of the posts.

Inside, the keypad of the RAZR 2 was hardly discernible from that of the original RAZR, except perhaps slightly roomier. The action and fit and finish of the metal plating is very similar.
