Ok , after writing my last post on paypal , I thought to write about Paypal Verification as well. I belong to India and people know very well that students do not get credit cards easily here. I have been using paypal for over two years now and my account was limited once for some un usual charges linked to my credit card , which was completely ridiculous coz I did not have credit card at that time. Nevertheless I uploaded documents and it got un limited.

After that none of my account was limited until recently one of my accounts i.e the Premier account was limited because they (Paypal) suspected unusual activity in my account. How the hell can they detect an un usual activity because no one knew the password for my account and the last time I used my account was only to Pay hosting charges to Godaddy for my website.

My Laptop

The model is Acer Aspire 4720 , a little bit cheap and with 14.1" screen , I think it is the best option for me as I do not have to write heavy programs and neither do I have to use pretty much heavy software's. All I have to do is to connect my Lappi to my Wifi Connection and use Internet on the laptop. So, guys I am going to enjoy rocking evening what;s about you.

As I came into the home one day I got information from my Mom that my cousin brother was going to be married in one month. What has been said by most of the persons on the net I was not able to understand. Today I changed this blog's address from blogger to my own domain, it was just because I was not getting enough visitors on those parked pages to generate any sort of revenue. Then I thought to use my domain to cover this blogspot.com address. Most of the blogging services do not use free domain blogs who are having any sort of blogspot.com or wordpress.com or xanga.com or any other domain name behind them.

How I did it ?

This was not easy because I was not able to understand what the blogger help said about custom domain pointing. It was just given like this

How do I create a CNAME record for my custom domain?

A CNAME, or Canonical Name, record is an entry within the Domain Name System (DNS) that specifies where a user can find your web pages, or any other URL. You'll use this to associate your custom domain with your blog.

After registering your domain, decide if you want to use a particular subdomain for your blog. E.g. instead of www.mydomain.com you could use something like blog.mydomain.com, if you want. Then you'll create a corresponding CNAME record for that address, associating it with ghs.google.com. Keep in mind that changes to DNS records make take up to 48 hours to take effect.

Each hosting service has slightly different ways to create CNAME records. Guidelines are provided here for some of the common services. When in doubt, check with the particular company you're using for additional help or instructions.

Thanks that My domain host was given in this list. So I had to follow.

2. If it's not already selected, click the Administration tab.
3. Click Domains. The Domain Overview page appears.
4. From the New drop-down menu, select Create Subdomain. (If you've already created a subdomain for your blog's address, skip to step six.)
5. Enter only the subdomain you want to use, and click OK. For example, if you chose www.mydomain.com for your blog's address, you should enter www here.
6. Select the checkbox next to the subdomain that you will be using. (Example: www.mydomain.com)
7. From the DNS menu, select Edit DNS Settings.
8. Click the radio button next to CNAME.
9. Enter ghs.google.com next to Alias.
10. Click OK.

Now what I was not understanding was that where are the Nameservers gone. Where should I point my domain's Nameservers to because pointing them to Default will result in a parked page and if they are forwarded to Sedo then they will show the Sedo's parking page.

After loooking many websites and groups I realised that you have to leave your default nameservers in their place and you have to create the CNAME records only.
By adding the CNAME records the domain will be pointed to google's custom servers where the blog will be shown.

So those who are thinking to set up their own domains on blogger blogs don't waste time here and there you need to just do one thing
Leave the default Name Servers
Add the new CNAME records
and let it update for some time After it will update you will have your blog from Blogspot.com pointed to your domain.

That's all for today but I will have some of my other blogs switch over to domains which are empty till now.

A year back I was riding my bicycle along with my friend , We were enjoying our evening and then suddenly it happened he just went over to main road and one speeding vehicle came and hit him. At that moment I was shocked to see the whole incident , As the vehicle hit him he fell off the road and was scratched badly. He had blood over all his body. I did not waste any single moment and ran to my house to call my parents . They rushed at the site and in the meantime I informed Arjun's parents by phone .

Arjun's family tried all the sources to gather a vehicle from their relatives , neighbors and all but were not able to get a vehicle and then they called the ambulance. Ambulance was taking long time to come so I asked uncle to get a vehicle on hire but he said he did not have enough money to pay to the taxi service or vehicle on hire service.

I must say we managed to arrange for the vehicle before ambulance arrived and took him to hospital and then he had several surgeries which made him look like before but still he does not look like the Arjun I knew. This all incident cost more than several Lakhs of rupees to Arjun's family who were not in position to get so much money so quickly , in turn they took pay day loans from people at higher interests which they are still not able to pay.

Now I look back at the past and say can somebody have helped Arjun's family by providing cash advance loans to them . Now I can say that Internet has been Saviour for us because it provides many things at absolutely no time , like wise if we would like to have cash advance then we just need our savings account , 3 months of active employment and when you get approved they deposit the cash via wire into your savings account usually done within 24 hours.

Have you heard of Cheaters. May be yes . You must have heard of them because everybody knows that cheating is not good and cheaters are not good persons . I also have an incident which I would like to share today as well.
I signed up for a Bloggerwave way back in June and then I did some posts for them as well . 3 to the number. It was written in the FAQ's that I would be paid after 30 days of the posts.

Well before today i thought Life Insurance to be just a formality but when I was told by my Dad in brief then only i came to know about it.

Life insurance or life assurance is a contract between the policy owner and the insurer, where the insurer agrees to pay a sum of money upon the occurrence of the policy owner's death. In return, the policy owner (or policy payer) agrees to pay a stipulated amount called a premium at regular intervals.

As with most insurance polices, life assurance is a contract between the insurer and the policy owner (policyholder) whereby a benefit is paid to the designated Beneficiary (or Beneficiaries) if an insured event occurs which is covered by the policy. To be a life policy the insured event must be based upon life (or lives) of the people named in the policy.

Insured events that may be covered include:

death,
accidental death

Life policies are legal contracts and the terms of the contract describe the limitations of the insured events. Specific exclusions are often written into the contract to limit the liability of the insurer; for example claims relating to suicide, fraud, war, riot and civil commotion.

Life based contracts tend to fall into two major categories:

Protection policies - designed to provide a benefit in the event of specified event, typically a lump sum payment.
Investment policies - where the main objective is to facilitate the growth of capital by regular or single premiums.

Life Insurance Types

There are different types of life insurance:

Level Term Life Insurance – You are insured for the same amount throughout the agreed term.

Renewable Term Life Insurance– You have the option, after a specified period (usually 5 years) to take out a further term life insurance policy without the need for any further evidence of health, provided the policy will not continue beyond a certain age (often 65 or more).

= Because only those teachers are good in that subject.

Why the teachers like that subject but the students hate that subject?

After the shameful defeat of Team India ,the team members were not able to show their faces to people and they chose not to go in public and rather just pack up in hotel rooms.

Dravid could not resist for too long to be in the hotel room and still not be able to go out shopping. So he disguises himself as a Sardar and goes out. He meets a woman at the exit of the hotel who greets him "Hi Dravid!"

Surprised for having been caught he comes back and makes himself up as a muslim woman - in Burkha etc and goes out. Yet the same woman greets him "Hi Dravid!".

Dravid comes back determined to give it yet another try with the make up of a Hippie wig and shorts etc. All in vain, the same lady catches him again and greets him "Hi Dravid!".

Bewildered by now, he could not help asking, "How did you recognise me?"

The lady replied - "I am Sachin!"
