Ok , after writing my last post on paypal , I thought to write about Paypal Verification as well. I belong to India and people know very well that students do not get credit cards easily here. Paypal wants each one of us using them to be verified with credit cards so that we might be able to get our limits lifted off.

So, being in India I had no other choice than to go on VCC made from HDFC Bank's netsafe cards which are Virtual in nature but work like a charm on many website including Paypal. I verified my accounts in starting with Netsafe card and then I have done many transactions in past using the netsafe cards and I have not had any problems as such.

Many people say that you are inviting trouble when you use VCC in your Paypal account , but I would say that using a VCC is not harmful but if you use it carelessly a valid credit card can also be harmful to your account.
